Dear Members of the WPE,

thank you very much for your trust and support in my candidacy. As the third elected Speaker of the WPE I will work hard to fulfil your expectations.

In today’s world, characterised by global problems, a globalised economy, and increased global awareness of our united responsibility for this world initiatives for a political globalisation are needed than ever more. The WPE is the best way to combine effectiveness with global reach. Participation in this first world wide legislative process is unlimited. The combined power of an unlimited number of participants is tremendous!

We are, however, at the present far away from our goal. We have just started to turn our vision into reality. Today, we can only count on the rightness of our idea not on the number of WPE members. It will be my mission as the President of the WPE to bridge the gap between the idea and its realisation – between our values and reality.

To bridge the gap we need more than our political program. We have to convince humankind, that the WPE is the opportunity to solve global problems on a global scale in a peaceful democratic way. It is the WPE that needs our strongest the support at the moment. And it is my belief, that the participation of a large number of people in the WPE will make our world a better place! This is my political program for the coming month. I will increase the power of the WPE by increasing the number of participants and thus increasing the number of decision-makers who take into consideration the decisions of the WPE. The larger the number of participants the bigger our power will be, however, the present state is a chance for all early participants, as it allows the to have large influence on the important decisions that will fundamentally shape the character of this institution.At the moment we can all make a big difference!

I know that the WPE needs a strong president: one that is willing to advance the project internally and promote it to potential members world wide. To achieve this goal we need stronger discussions, a stronger appearance and a stronger community. We have to form coalitions with organisations that are like us fighting for a democratic world and a world democracy. We need to increase the public awareness of our project, make our voices heard. We must try to form strong opinions in lively discussions and promote them to the world.

I will work hard to fulfil these tasks. I will work hard to increase the power of the project that I believe to become very powerful in the future. I will encourage members to participate more heavily and others to become members. I will convince important and well known fighters for a democratic world to support the WPE with their name and their reputation.

I will try to form coalitions with possible partner institutions to form a powerful network. I will find sponsors that will help us with their funds to optimise our software and increase our popularity. I will work hard to make the WPE more successful.

I encourage you the members of the WPE to support my work with your comments. Please send me your interests, ideas and questions. I will also communicate all my activities every week to you via the Speakerpages in the WPE or by E-Mail. You will always know all about my activities, and about our common achievements.

Together we will make the WPE a success!
